The advertisement for the car was well-designed, providing a detailed description with accompanying photographs. There were a few additional questions, to which the seller responded promptly by telephone and email. Following agreement to purchase, I was met at Preston station in the car. This matched or exceeded my expectations in every aspect; a twelve year old vehicle, which was in outstanding condition and had clearly been meticulously cared for by its one owner from new. At the office, all the paperwork was present and correct and the transaction proceeded smoothly. In summary, I travelled from Oxford to buy this car for our grandson, having scoured pages of car advertisements for weeks. I am 72 and in my experience this was an outstanding transaction in every respect; in consequence, I have no hesitation in unequivocally recommending this seller.

Generally I hate buying vehicles. All too often you have to deal with smarmy salespeople peddling loads of BS. So I was pleasantly surprised when I visited them to be left in peace to browse. When I did need help I was given straightforward answers. In the end I purchased a Transit Custom and everything has been great. The van was serviced and valeted and, knowing the distance I traveled, they even made sure there was a decent amount of fuel in the tank. All in all, a really pleasant and hassle free experience.

Requiring a ULEZ-compliant vehicle at a competitive price I found what I was looking for at Schofield Motors and the reviews on the site encouraged me to buy unseen. I was sent a video of the vehicle, all details were explained carefully over the phone or by email and as I was travelling from Hampshire to Preston by train to pick it up, Andrew was kind enough to meet me at the station with my new van and stay with me while I found my way around the controls, which in my opinion went way beyond ordinary service. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend thoroughly.

After reading great reviews about Schofield Motors, and seeing a vehicle of interest on their easy to navigate website we put down a small deposit to reserve a van. We booked an appointment to view, arrived to a clean and tidy yard and didn’t immediately get ‘jumped’ upon by a salesman. Andrew, one of the owners came out to meet us and let us have a look at the van, without being pushy at all. He was well informed regarding the make and model, and happy to accommodate adjustments to the van to suit our preferences, such as taking out the internal shelves. Andrew offered us an excellent price for part exchange of our current van, explained the sales process and mentioned the van would have a full MOT with any advisories cleared, which is a step up from most other companies. We had a leisurely test drive and decided we would probably like to purchase, but would have a think about it overnight, then confirmed the next day. Andrew was very approachable, and communication was professional and relevant. We didn’t purchase the vehicle in the end, and this was simply due to another van cropping up last minute being more suited to our needs, but had we signed the deal I am sure we would have been in great hands. Upon informing Andrew that we didn’t wish to go ahead with the purchase after all, the prompt return of our deposit was promised. Overall, exceptional customer service from Schofield Motors. I would highly recommend this company, and they have lots of great vans too!

We found a perfect van at Schofield Motors, Andrew arranged a time for us to see it and test drive. We knew it was right for us, so left a deposit until we could collect it. There was no pressure and Andrew agreed to do some touch ups that concerned us.
Once we got the van home, we had a slight problem with the alarm, Andrew was great he arranged for us to take the van to a local garage near us, so the problem could be identified, then proceeded to arrange the problem to be fixed at his expense. We were very grateful and are delighted with our van and the service we received.
